There are only four more games in the regular NFL season. If you’re lucky and your team has advanced in your conference playoffs, you may have one or two more games left. Now you really need to continue taking care of your body and eating nutritiously. I know it’s the holiday season and you will be tempted by cakes, candies and all your favorite dishes, but try to resist until after the playoffs. Sugary foods (and drinks) give you a quick energy high and then bring you down and make you tired. Now is not the time to be tired! You will need all your energy to keep pressing on toward your team’s goal of a championship.


Eat fruits for your sweet taste. They’ll give you energy and fiber to keep you feeling full. Remember, the players that are in the best shape usually play the best. Good luck!
